Weymouth & Portland Lions – Support Life Saving DocBike Dorset

Weymouth & Portland Lions Club were proud to present a £500 donation to Jo and Mark Lovett of DocBike Dorset at their recent Business Meeting.
DocBike Dorset is an exceptional charity that pairs consultant-level doctors or critical care paramedics with high-performance motorcycles,
enabling them to reach the scene of serious incidents rapidly. The service plays a crucial role in reducing deaths and life-changing injuries caused by motorcycle collisions.
Many of DocBike’s clinicians also serve with the local air ambulance, treating the most severely injured patients at the roadside and giving them the best possible chance of reaching hospital alive.
The Lions were delighted to support such vital, life-saving work and to contribute to the charity’s continued efforts across Dorset.
