Our website, MIPnet.org.uk, has undergone a substantial overhaul to help us share the network’s work and connect with people who want to contribute.
The Motorcycle Injury Prevention Network brings together researchers, clinicians, partner organisations and members of the motorcycling community. Our shared aim is to understand how to prevent motorcycle collisions and reduce the injuries they cause, whilst preserving the enjoyment and freedom of riding.
As the network develops, we want our website to reflect both the research we are undertaking and the people and partnerships that make it possible. The overhaul is part of that work: helping us explain what MIPnet does, why it matters and how others can become involved.
Collaboration is central to our approach. Researchers bring expertise in investigating questions and interpreting evidence; clinicians bring experience of caring for injured riders; and motorcyclists bring essential knowledge of riding and the issues that matter to their community. Bringing these perspectives together helps us ask useful questions and develop research with practical value.
We would welcome you taking a look around the updated website and sharing it with colleagues, fellow riders or organisations who might be interested in our work.
Visit MIPnet.org.uk to explore the network. If you have a research idea, would like to collaborate or want to help shape our work, we would be pleased to hear from you.
