New Rideout for Easter
The idea for our new Rideout was born from our Santa Toy Run!
Sunday 21st December 2025 saw our 2nd Santa Toy Run dawn slightly damp as seems to be the norm! and for the first time I had planned to join the bikes and get to Dorset County Hospital for the presentation of our collection of Presents for the Children spending time in hospital at Christmas. Whilst Stood in the car park at our end destination surrounded by all forms of bikes with riders dressed as all things festive, Dr Ian asked if I reckoned we could do this for Easter. Never one to turn down a challenge – I got to work upon my return to the Pub ( The Churchill Arms, Alderholt) and emailed the guys at Kingfisher Ward to check that they would be happy to accept a large delivery of Chocolate for their wards at Easter. With the anwer being a resounding Yes! I designed the Posters and Social media assets, which have been placed and posted in many places for all to see. The Easter Egg donations have been pouring into the pub during opening times over the last couple of weeks, and they shall be placed in our travel crates ready to be delivered on Easter Sunday, hopefully accompanied by a courtege of our supporters on their bikes maybe dressed in spring themed attire. Our stands up time is 11.30am from the pub car park, or as close as possible so that we can arrive at DCH – by the pencil statue ready to hand over the loot of Chocolate for all the children spending their Easter in Hospital.
