One of DocBike’s mantras is “we don’t tell anyone what to do”.  Another is that we won’t spread myths, but are keen to share evidence-based facts with the motorcycling community about what might prevent bikers from being involved in a motorcycle crash and what bikers can do to reduce the chances of serious injury in the event of an accident.

To be able to deliver on this, DocBike has long invested in research, match-sponsoring a PhD student in to motorcycle injury prevention at Bournemouth University since 2018.

DocBike is now pleased to announce the development of MIPnet, the Motorcycle Injury Prevention research Network. This brings a collaboration between the community-led charity and health researchers, coordinated through Dorset County Hospital. Find out more and how you can get involved at the MIPnet web page here!
