Here at DocBike Devon we are Celebrating the amazing work that the Devon Air Ambulance does alongside Air Ambulances UK this Air Ambulance Week.

Cat McMorrow is a Critical Care paramedic delivering life-saving treatment every day with Devon Air Ambulance and also planned in the very near future for DocBike
.

In Devon we have beautiful moorland and amazing rural locations but this means critically injured patients travelling by road to hospital puts them at significant risk due to the distances and times involved.
.
Sadly, Devon is associated with a huge number of motorcycle-related serious injuries and deaths. It’s this passion to reduce the number of crashes by up-skilling riders through DocBike-delivered messaging combined with the provision of advanced critical care by Devon Air Ambulance that is truly life-saving.
.
With the aircraft capabilities and incredible pilot’s flying, alongside the latest evidence-based critical care and medication, we’re able to give everyone (not just motorcyclists) the care that they need and for this, we are so grateful for our Air Ambulance service.
