At Sammy Millers for the end of the BCP Distinguished Gentleman’s ride

Sun 17 May and DocBike were set up, ready and waiting with the other stands in and around Sammy Millers Motorcyvle Museum, the end of this years BCP Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR).

DGR organised by Chris Hobson, also of DocBike Dorset of course.

At the appointed hour the many, many, many and various bikes, trikes and mega trike pulled in, with 2 DocBikes and an engagement bike parked in a reserved slot right next to the entrance to the court yard.

We had a great day, with the usual Sammys Hero’s of Ray, Lindsey, Lorraine and James well supported by Mandy and Mike….

Oh and Adrian turned up… for the coffee!

Adrian had his latest toy, a contactless donation terminal donated by Paul from Dorset Water Softeners,

which once he worked out how to do it worked really well and I think people found it so much easier, and for us mitigates the increasingly cashless society.

A great day, apart from the heavy shower for 15mins, over 1000 bikes parked in every available knock and cranny, a bar, food and other stands including Prostate Cancer, a singer and Mental Health Motorbike.
