Docbike Sussex Rideout Saturday 4th April

DocBike Sussex Ride Out 4th April.
We are incredibly grateful for all those that attended our ride out yesterday. Around 100 riders assembled at the Ceasefire Café in Yapton to enjoy a hot drink and a butty before the safety briefing and then setting off on a picturesque route through the West Sussex countryside to the Frog and Nightgown pub in Horsham before returning to the Ceasefire for the organised raffle and auction.  A lovely day which was typified with good nature and smiles.
The marshalling was performed in an exemplary and safe way by the South Downs Motorcycle Group. We were also delighted at the support from Sussex Police Road Policing Unit in ensuring all the participants were able to keep in formation throughout.
We like to thank the following, for providing some of the raffle prizes-
Billy’s Motorcycles, Haslemere Motorcycles, ecmmotorcycles, twistedpixieautodetailing – Hastings, West Park Cafe – Bognor, ESMW Motorcycle group, Bexhill, Ye Old Tudor Butchery – Middleton, Whitehill Bordon, One Stop – Middleton, Tesco – Littlehampton, Sussex Rolling Road – Durrington.
We would also like to thank nine of our volunteers that gave their day in support of the event.
We are delighted to be able to confirm that just over 1.5k was raised on the day which will contribute towards our life saving mission in Sussex.
